The Advocacy Committee of Death with Dignity – Albany will be hosting an information table during the day at the Resource Fair at Albany Law School’s 21st annual Senior Citizens’ Law Day. This is a free event that provides information on pressing legal, financial and health issues of concern today. . Please stop by to say hello and join the volunteers at the table to show your support!

The day will feature a full schedule of workshops on 30 topics facilitated by attorneys, financial advisors and other experts. There will also be a Pro Bono Brief Service/Advice Clinic, offered in partnership with the State Bar Association Elder Law and Special Needs Section, where attendees can sign up for a free 30-minute consultation with a practicing elder law attorney. Participants will receive a free 250-page Senior Citizens’ Law Day guidebook.

No advanced registration is required. A light breakfast will be available at 9am and a reduced rate lunch will be available from 12-2pm.

◦Medical Orders for Life-Sustaining Treatment (MOLST) form
◦How to have frank, honest discussions about your choices with family, physicians, attorneys and caregivers
